THE IDEA
Integrate the people, expertise, history, culture, and vision of Knutson Construction into their new facility, telling a visual story of what makes them unique, while accentuating their brand identity and creating an experience for employees and guests alike.
As a family-owned firm, based out of Minnesota for over a century, it was important to Knutson to highlight their history, Midwestern culture, and expertise, including their ability to self-perform concrete and masonry. To bring this vision to life, rooms were given names, including: Concrete and Masonry, Woods and Lakes, and John A. Curry after the firm’s past visionary and former owner.
Graphic elements were seamlessly integrated into their space, through a series of bright and bold vinyl window and wall graphics. The walls of The Woods conference room features an abstract northwoods forest and oak table, while the Lakes conference room features names of employees’ favorite lakes throughout the Midwest and a panoramic photograph of a lake on the table.
100 YEARS STRONG
Placed along the exterior glass of the training room, officially named Team Blue as a nod to the employees who make the firm what it is, is a timeline featuring notable accomplishments and events throughout the firm’s history.
VISION + VALUES
As a guiding force for the firm’s success, the Knutson vison and values were also put on display throughout each of the firm’s five offices through both vinyl wall graphics and framed posters depicted the strength of the firm—their people.
A total of seven photo galleries that display some of Knutson’s most notable projects, owner testimonials, and company brand statements are on dispaly via a series of tension cable systems throughout the facility.
